WILMA HEUER Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation for Wilma will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2007 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Wilma B. Heuer, 75, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Pastor Mark Clark of Hillcrest Baptist Church will officiate the services. Casketbearers will be Steve Stoneking, Tom Antram, Dave Kraklio, Jim Fry, Carl Stover and Jeff Morrison. Honorary Casketbearers will be Warren Ribbink, Lee Ribbink, Traci Stoneking, Kirsten Ribbink, Pete Ribbink, Laura Ribbink, Jenny Ribbink and Kory Hogan. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Wilma's name. Wilma Beverly Wilson was born on September 8, 1931 in Wapello, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar Carl and Erma Lucille (Trible) Wilson. On May 1, 1949 Wilma was united in marriage to Kenneth Warren Heuer at the Glad Tidings Church in Muscatine. She was employed by and in the early 1970's became owner/operator of the Muscatine County Abstract Company. Wilma was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church for over 40 years where she served as a Sunday School and Awana teacher. Wilma was an avid bowler all her life and a member of the Muscatine Women's Bowling Association, serving as a past board member and was an inductee into the MWBA's Hall of Fame. Wilma loved spending time with her family, serving and enjoying family dinners every Sunday at her home and attending their many activities. Wilma will be deeply missed by her husband, Kenneth Warren Heuer of Muscatine; one son, Randall Wayne Heuer of Muscatine; one daughter, Barbara Jean Heuer of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Warren Scott Ribbink and his wife, Laura, Lee Raymond Ribbink and his wife, Jenny, Traci Joanne Stoneking and her husband, Steve and Kirsten Beverly Ribbink and fiancé Kory Hogan, all of Muscatine; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jordan, Mya, Drayven, Kord, Riley, Finley and Darrah; one son-in-law, Raymond "Pete" Ribbink of Muscatine; and four sisters, Janet Askam of Scottsdale, Arizona, Dolores Stover and her husband, Arthur "Archie" of Durant, Carlene Morrison and her husband, Charles "Chuck" of Letts, and Anna Mae Schmelzer and her husband, Howard of Muscatine. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Cyril Rexford Reynolds; one daughter, Beverly Jo Ribbink on January 26, 2006; and one sister in infancy, Marjorie Jean Wilson.
