A Christian vigil service will be at 5 p.m. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. WILTON, Iowa -- Curtis W. Moser, 78, of Wilton, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at his home in Wilton. The celebrant will be Father James Vrba. Serving as casketbearers will be Jason Bennett, Jacob Eufinger, Brendan Eufinger, Craig Eufinger and Darren Eufinger. Internment will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Davenport. A memorial has been established. Mr. Moser was born Oct. 20, 1928, to Ralph and Opal (Borrett) Moser in Guttenberg. He married Rosemary R. Gamble May 29, 1965, in Davenport. She died Nov. 28, 1999. He graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1946 and from the University of Iowa in 1957. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from John Deere Harvester Works. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed caring for his yard and trees. He was a caring man and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Regina Eufinger and her husband, Craig, of St. Peters, Mo. and Kris Moser and Jason Bennett of Davenport; eight grandchildren; his sister, Lois White and her husband, Jason, of Independence, Mo.; his brother, Donald Moser and his wife, Betty, of Guttenberg; and his special friend, Dorothy Powell. He was preceded in death by wife and parents.
