"What a beautiful loving spirit Aunt Millie had. I spent many hours as I grew up, running across the street to Aunt Millie's; learning to make bread, and that wonderful white cake of hers. To this day, I make bread on every holiday and we always attribute Aunt Millie for teaching me. She has touched my heart and my life and will always be remembered with loving thoughts. I am glad she is at peace now.
Cindy"

"Aunt Millie & Uncle Jim were more than neighbors, they were the first to share the good & the bad happenings in our families life. Aunt Millie was there to console or help in any way she could expecting nothing in return. Her door was always open as she was cooking, canning or baking bread. After I moved from Muscatine she never failed to remember birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I will be forever greatful for the caring love they shared with my daughter Cindy. As we continue on in our journey of life, Aunt Millie will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you Aunt Millie for the love we shared."

"My sweet "M". My best friend. I feel such peace in having kown her. She was the Mother I never had.
Emilie Was a great person, a joy to be with, and so easy going it was hard not to love her. I will miss her spirit, our friendship and the loving woman she was.
In being with her when she took her last breath, gave me great saddness for my loss, and joy knowing her pain was over. She will live on in my heart always.
God bless her life,God bless her passing.
Marge.

""Aunt" Millie was very dear to me and my family as I was growing up, and in my adult life. She came to my rescue as a teen a few different times, and I enjoyed visiting with her over the years. Her mind stayed so sharp and she could speil off names of loved ones. I always admired that she was so good at the cryptiquotes, and a few years ago she gave me clues to figure them out.
She was such a wonderful friend to my late mother, and we reminisced often.
Honor her memory. Sandra"
