NOLBERTO NATERA MUSCATINE, Iowa - Nolberto R. Natera, 64, of Muscatine, died Friday, January 25, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 2, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 701 Lake Park Bvld., Muscatine. Estevan Martinez of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses will officiate. The Ralph J. Wittich Riley Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Nolberto was born on June 27, 1943, in Taft, Texas, the son of Ramon and Amada Rivera Natera. He married Maria Magdalena Marin on May 30, 1987 in Muscatine, Iowa Nolberto previously worked at Jacks and Shopko for 15 years in maintenance. He most recently was working at Elder-Beerman and at ResCare. He was a self-taught mechanic and did upholstery. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and sharing his religious beliefs with others. Survivors include his wife, Maria Magdalena Natera of Muscatine; four sons, Amado Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, Martin Natera and Nolberto Natera Jr. all of Madison, WI; one daughter, Maria Victoria Natera of Madison, WI; one step-daughter, Margarita Fernandez and husband Martin of Thor; 10 grandchildren, Misael Fernandez, Maurilinda Rodriguez, Amado Rodriguez, Sebastian Rodriguez, Santiago Rodriguez, Kassandra Azul Sorenson, Celina Jade Sorenson, Coty James Sorenson, Nolberto Esteban Natera and Chastity Natera; One great-granddaughter; Kamilya Natera Vasquez; three brothers, Raul Natera of California, Ramiro Natera of Texas, and Daniel Natera of Texas; three sisters, Minerva Nevarez of Texas, Adelmira Naranjo of Colorado and Maricela Dominguez of Madison, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rodolfo and Eduardo Natera.
