Tributes

Donita (Wheeler) Seiler, Merrill, IA wrote on Dec 9, 2010:

"Today I sadly learned that Ken has passed on to a new life..I wish I had known and been there to say a last goodbye... Ken and I have corresponded many times over the last 6 years.. He helped me through some pretty tough times, he gave me many rides on his Harley and visited when he would come through Sioux City. He was easy to talk to, and had the heart of a giant. After his Open heart surgery He learned to appreciate life even more..he believed he had been given a second chance, maybe to have a special purpose after his surgery. I got to meet Edna when I brought him home from Rochester. we would talk for hours on the phone while he was driving...Wish I had called him that day...He was a special friend and a kindred spirit. "I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Ken. I know one thing for sure and that is that he is in heaven with God. He had a very strong belief in the bible. Edna, I don't know if you remember me or not, but Ken and I dated for a little over a year and he lived with me and my girls in Tea. We came with Ken and visted & stayed you in Windom a few times. I will NEVER forget you Ken and anyone that ever knew you...won't either. Goodbye Earl! BabyDoll (my nickname from him) My thoughts and prayers are with his family. No words can express how I feel. Sorry for your loss. "

"I'm very shocked to hear of Ken's passing & have many unanswered questions. Ken was such a caring and kind hearted man. I will always remember him wearing his cowboy hat, boots, & his infamous trench coat. He dated my mother Gloria for quite some time, we lived together in Tea, SD. He was like a father to us... was always great to my sister and I. It didn't matter if it was singing or making crafts... he was always willing to participate with us. I have soo many memories of him. He will be in our ?hearts? forever! My sincerest sympathy goes out to his family & friends. Edna, stay strong! you are such a sweet lady. I remember visiting you in Windom. See you in the next life! [[ I'm going to miss that smile, play it sweet in heaven...
