"I have only know Kitty for the last couple of years, but her warm smile was always on her face. What a delight it was to have known Kitty even for such a short time."

"I was SO sorry to hear of Kitty's death. I lead an In Touch group, composed mainly of widows and widowers, and Kitty was one of our most charming and sweet ladies. We truly enjoyed her. Her death came as a real shock to us, as I'm sure it was to you. She attended my church (Calvary Evangelical Free Church), and enjoyed it greatly. We will all miss her tremendously. My prayer is that God will comfort and sustain you during this difficult time, as you lean on His arm and submit yourselves to Him. I would be interested in knowing what caused her death, if you ever get a chance to write me or call me. My address is 2804 - 2nd St. SW, #334, Rochester 55902, and my phone is 507-529-1474 (h) or 507-202-5454 (cell). God bless you abundantly!Doris Mulholland"

"Maxine is one of my favorite people in the world! Max, Wayne and David have been forever family friends and we have so many great memories with them. I wish for them to all be together in peace. Thank you so much to Bev and her family for all that you've done for Maxine. Jeni McKee + family"
"Beverly & Gwen, Neither my husband nor I could attend Maxine's service this morning. He and his sister (Bob Weis & Paula Diane Weis Olson) grew up next door to Maxine & Wayne & David on Parkington Drive. When we moved back to town, Wayne came to Bob for doctoring, not believing that he was in a position to "do what Bobbie said". After that, I'm not sure if Bob had any contact with Maxine, and then of course, she moved. Accept our sympathies and regret that we couldn't visit this morning. Bob & Kris Weis"
"Dearest Bev and Kim, I have such fond memories of Maxine and our friendship would not have been if it was not for the Eckhardts. I so frequently still speak of Maxine and Wayne's hog roast for their friends and neighborhood. They were wonderful neighbors for 30 years. So wish I could be there to express my sympathy to you in person tommorow. You were so good to her. Stay in touch."
