CAROLYN FORGEY MUSCATINE, Iowa - Carolyn C. Forgey, 82, of Muscatine, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at her home of interstitial lung disease. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or service, the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Muscatine Trinity Hospice. Carolyn was born on April 5, 1928, in Warren, Arkansas, the daughter of R. L. and Velma E. Brown Glosup. She married Jim Forgey on January 2, 1948, in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was a graduate of McGehee High School in McGehee, Arkansas. She worked as a printer at Eby Engineering in El Dorado, Arkansas, for 12 years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Jim Forgey of Muscatine; one son, Randy Forgey and wife, Cheryl, of Durant; one grandson, Greg Davies of Cedar Falls; and a cousin, Marie Hoff. She was preceded in death by her parents.
