"Russ & Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Doris' passing. I'm sorry I missed Russ coming into Midland. You have my prayers at this time. She was a great lady and she will be missed. I remember running into her out of the blue in downtown Muscatine a couple years ago. The lady on my block in Buffalo used to do her hair too. Lots of good memories from Midland and seeing her at the picnics."

"We are saddened at the loss of our dear friend, Doris. We sympathize with the grief of the family. We met her in 1971, played cards in her home, had a picnic at Wild Cat Den, and praised God together at Christ United Methodist many times. She will be missed. She was a Godly woman and a woman of character. She is also happier now with Jesus than any of us could be in this life. We look forward to seeing her again in eternity. Steve & Linda Garrington"
