Mary H. "Jeanne" Gerngross, 80 of Ambler PA, died Sunday June 29, 2008 in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (nee Inez) Heinze.
Mrs. Gerngross was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen.
She is the beloved wife of Joseph J. Gerngross of Ambler, PA and the devoted mother of Mary Jean (Peter) McCorry of Richboro, PA, Anne Marie (Mike) Palilonis of Richboro, PA, Maggie (Kevin) McHale of Fairfax, VA, Joseph J. (Adele) Gerngross, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Robert J. (Bia) Gerngross of Philadelphia, PA, Marianne Quinn of Newtown, PA, Frederick J. (Mo) Gerngross of Ambler, PA., John J.(Mary) Gerngross of Ambler, PA. and Rosemary (Greg) Grimm of Radnor, PA. She was the loving grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 3. She is also survived by her sisters Margie Smith of Drexel Hill, PA and Sr. Miriam Robert I.H.M. of Somerville, NJ.
Relatives and friends called Wednesday July 2, 2008 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, Maple Glen with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with the Most rev. Martin N. Lohmuller as Celebrant. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
