"June 29, 2011 Jan and I send our heartfelt condolences to the families of Michael, Florence and to all the lives that U. Bill trouched. Over the holidays, when we visited Grandmom/pop, I remember bunking with him and he studying at his desk while he was attending U of P. He, Teresa, and Michael had me up for dinner every week during the spring of 1957 when I was living in center city. He drove me back every time and really busted my chops with wild stories that had me laughing or scared out of my mind. Hay, it was the baby of the family that took on the tedious and loving task of research and compilation of the Fedyna family tree. Reading his letters to Mary(sister), I know he loved life, loved his family and his extended family. His life was a light in sometimes dark world. He made that extra effort to touch the lives of us all. Donald Derk, Buffalo, New York "
