William A. Narkum "Bill", 51, died in his home after a long illness on Friday, April 24, 2009. Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Anna (Roberta) Narkum of Lt Egg Harbor, NJ, Brother David Narkum and wife Joan of Horsham, PA, sister, Joann Bond and husband Clint of Allentown, PA, Paul Narkum and Susan of Youngstown, Ohio, and a step sister, Debbie Doyle and Tom of Ambler, PA. He adored his nephews, Matthew Bobb, Paul Narkum, Jr., Nicholas Narkum, (and nieces) Melissa Narkum, Trisha Narkum, Eleesa and Julie Bobb, and Jessie and Grace Narkum, along with great nephews, Dylan Narkum Langheim and Adam William Narkum.
Being around people is what made Bill happiest. He liked bartending and especially loved spending time with his family. He bowled for years at the former Lansbowl Lanes, was an avid NASCAR fan and for many years he could be found building and rebuilding cars. His passion was cooking and he always enjoyed bringing a favorite dish when he visited.
He was a retail sales representative for Suburban Food Catering in Lansdale for the past 7 years.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church Main and Poplar Streets Ambler with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM with Rev. Eugene Tully, Pastor as celebrant. Interment will be Private.
Remembrances in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated by the family.
