In loving memory of

Rashonda Lavonne Evaige
September 17, 1978 - December 15, 2021

Our beloved RaShonda LaVonne Evaige was born on September 17, 1978, in Tyler, Texas to Robin Lenora Evaige and Rickey Mathew Grant both of Tyler, Texas. Although she grew up in Tyler, she and her mother later moved to Dallas, Texas in 1985 where she attended Pershing Elementary School. In 1988, the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia for four years but decided to make Dallas their home. In 1996, the family joined St. Luke "Community" United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Lillie E. Berry Youth Choir. She attended Skyline High school where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Andrell Lamont Sanders. To this union, one son was born, Andrell Sanders, Jr.

RaShonda was an entrepreneur for several years. A true go-getter and independent businesswoman she had a passion for marketing beauty products and giving back to her community. She was an avid dog and cat lover and passed this characteristic on to her loving son. This social butterfly made friends of everyone with her infectious smile and fun personality. She was a member of St. Luke "Community" United Methodist Church and loved giving back to the community. She was an advocate for various community events at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center and throughout the City of Dallas. She was a dedicated member to the Order of Eastern Star in Queen Estrella Grand Chapter for the past 3 years. During her time with Queen Makkarah #001, Sis. RaShonda served whole-heartedly as a Marshall within the organization and diligently served on Queen Estrella Grand chapter subcommittees.

Our dear angel departed this earth on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She is survived by her son, Andrell Lamont Sanders, Jr of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her mother Robin Lenora Evaige of Dallas Texas; the loving Evaige Family, Martin Family and Grant Family; and a host of cousins, friends, and extended church family who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmothers, Hazel Jean Evaige and Oscela Grant. Although her life ended before we all knew, our time with RaShonda filled our lives with memorable joy, fun, and eternal happiness. May her beautiful soul, infectious smile, and funny personality live in our hearts, minds, and soul forever.
