Tracy J. Moore, 36, of Blairsburg, died on Sunday July 31, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center with Rev. Joseph Tracy King officiating. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Fosters. Funeral services will be causal dress with T-shirts and jeans in honor of Tracy.
Tracy James Moore, son of Melvin and Peggy Riley Moore was born on November 30, 1974 in Landstuhl, Germany. He graduated from Northeast Hamilton High School in 1994. On January 17, 2000 he married Natalie Werner in Webster City. Tracy had worked at Prestige Farms in the maintenance department for nearly 7 years. He had worked briefly for Keyway management before he retired due to his failing health.
Survivors include his wife Natalie; and children, Torri Werner and Tiffany Werner Moore; parents, Melvin and Peggy Moore all of Blairsburg; brother, Travis (Lori) Moore of Williams; nephews, Brayden and Holden Moore also of Williams; cousin, Anthony Riley (CoeAnn)of Webster City; and niece Harper Riley also of Webster City.
Tracy was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He was a member of the Blairsburg United Church of Christ. Tracy was also a volunteer fireman for the city of Blairsburg.
