"I just saw this on a friend's Facebook page.
So sorry for the family's loss.
I served with Mike in the Marines in Hawaii. He did like good motorcycles and always looked on the bright side of things. From posts on here seems like he continued to do that.
Rest easy Brother, we got this. Guard Heaven's streets, see you when I get there. "

"My heart is literally breaking for your family! I didn't know Michael personally but it seems you all gave him alot of love, and vice versa! I have lost ones close to me as well and it's my goal to share the same encouragement with others that has helped me get through. Specifically Revelation 21:3, 4 where God promises to do away with death completely and forever! He also promises to reunite you with Michael, on earth, in its perfect state the way that he intended it to be. Please know that my thoughts are with you and if you would like to know more about this hope for the future email me at lolokidd03@gmail.com"

"I didn't know Mike for very long, but in that short time, it was obvious to me that he wasn't your ordinary guy. First & foremost, he was a devoted father. Honest, kind, hardworking, funny, I could go on & on. I met him through Sue & Paul , some of my favorite memories of Mike are when Sue & I would play fooseball against he & Paul & we would often win. It was always stiff competition, you could tell they were siblings. I am grateful that I ran into him briefly the night he passed. As he left he said I'll see ya later & flashed that dimpled smile. I only wish it were true. We lost a great soul on Aug. 5th, our loss is heavens gain. I will never forget him. My heart aches for his family, especially Sarah & Samantha. I hope that God will heal their pain & they will remember how lucky they were to have him and how much he loved his family. "

"Hi Hanson Family -
I am so sad to hear of Mike's accident. Our thoughts are with his family today.
We grew up just down the highway from Michael and his brothers and sisters.
Our families were involved in 4H during the years of our growing up.
We remember Mike as the cheerful, playful and carefree younger brother.
We don't know what it is to lose a brother or a son.
Our deepest sympathies and hugs go out to Danny, Cheryl, Sue and Allen and Shirley and Dale.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers today,
Jenifer Smith

"A very kind, caring and hardworking man who LOVED his daughters so very much. I witnessed this on many occasions as he treated my daughter like one of his own. He welcomed any of their friends into his home and especially enjoyed it when they would mess with him :) Typical girls. He will be missed very much. Gone too soon!"
