"I didn't know Chris well, but he did some work for me about a year ago. When other contractors in town ran their businesses in a dishonest manor, Chris was a breathe of fresh air for my wife and I to deal with. He was a stand up guy who did hard work for an honest price and I had great respect for him for it. You should be very proud of the highly respectable man that you raised and that others called a friend. "

Candace Ruby wrote on Sep 9, 2011:

"My favorite memory will always be demolishing the house that used to be next to his. We used a log chain and his truck, man did we have fun!! There were 5 of us there, and we each took turns ripping away at this house like it was a sheet of paper. When it was my turn I remember Chris yelling "gun it Candace," I did and broke the log chain. I will never forget the look on Chris's face like, that a girl!!! Chris gave me the smaller section of that chain and I still have it to this day. It may seem like a funny thing to keep as a momento, but it was an experience I will never forget. I held that chain today in my hand and thought to myself man he was a great link in this community's chain. Chris was an amazing person, a seperior young man, and a blessing to have known. He will be greatly missed. All who loved him are in my prayers and I am deeply sorry for your loss! Sincerely, Candace Ruby"
