"A FALLEN LIMB A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, grieve not for me. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we're together again."

Maynard and Carol Kurtz wrote on Oct 19, 2011:

"Dear Aunt Neoma, Ruth, and David We enjoyed our many visits with Uncle Steve and the family; we will miss him and his love of the Colorado Mountains."

Barbara Elias Wagoner wrote on Oct 7, 2011:

"Dear Aunt Neoma, Ruth & David, Sympathies on your loss. Steve visited with Neoma to my high school graduation as well as my brother's. I first met him at both of your graduations before you left the nest and prior to scaling the Rockies. I remember him as always a pleasant and civil gentleman whom was Neoma's travelling companion and a constant in your lives. It was comforting to have a central Iowa family after we moved to Des Moines in 1975. Neoma was very proud and loved her new life she was to embark upon. Now is the time to reflect on your family as that is your legacy . "
