Bonnie Belle Clinkenbeard
December 6, 1946 - October 1, 2011

Bonnie Belle Clinkenbeard, age 64, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe, with burial at Silent City Cemetery following. The family will greet friends following the burial at a coffee time at the Monroe united Methodist Church in Monroe. The daughter of John Madison "Jack" Currier and Cora Belle "Honey" Best, Bonnie was born on December 6, 1946, in Newton, Iowa. She received her education in the Monroe Public Schools and attended Iowa Central Community College in Webster City and DMACC in Newton. On June 18, 1964, she was untied in marriage to William Lee Clinkenbeard in Knoxville; the couple later divorced. Bonnie had lived in Monroe, Carlisle, Webster City, Pella, and most recently in Newton. Bonnie had worked at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Brin's Furniture Store in Webster City and several restaurants.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Ronda Lynne Elam of Monroe; three grandchildren, Lisa Marie Clinkenbeard of Monroe, Jason Michael Elam of Monroe, and Tina Michelle Elam of Grinnell; a great grand son, Jack Madison Elam of Grinnell; four sisters, Norma Jeane Bell of Webster City, Myrna Rae Siebelts of DeSmet, South Dakota, Betty Joy Bowie of Monroe, and Lois June Rozga of Clintonville, Wisconsin as well as several cousins and many friends. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Edward James in infancy.
