Delores Greimann Mosher, Kathy's cousin wrote on Nov 25, 2008:

"I'm the oldest cousin on the Greimann side of the family and Kathy is one of the younger ones. Eugene was my dad's brother and our farms were just 2 miles apart. Our families spent a lot of time together. I was gone from this area before I had the chance to know Kathy very well. I got to know Kathy much better when I invited her to go with me to Pennsylvania in 2007 for my nephew's wedding. I will never forget her excitement of making this trip, and the fun time we had shopping in the Amish Craft Shops. We took a 5-mile tour on an Amish horse and buggy through the Amish countryside...Kathy enjoyed every minute of it. She had a love for her Lord and Savior and it showed through her living. I am so grateful that I had this opportunity to get to know Kathy better, and I will always have these special memories of Kathy. Thank you, Kathy! My prayers are with her parents, Eugene and Doris. Also her brother, Lowell, her sisters, Janette and Janelle, and all of their families. God give you peace. Cherish the memories!! "

Joyce Tjarks - college friend wrote on Nov 25, 2008:

"I got to know Kathy when I was a student at Dordt College. We often shared a ride from college to home and her laughter and lively conversation helped the three hour trip to pass quickly. We had a lot of wonderful times at Dordt College and occassionally I stayed the weekend with her in her off campus apartment. I ran into her in Garner a few summers ago when she was home visiting her parents. I know Kathy had a real passion for teaching and was a good friend. I want to express my sincere sympathy to all who knew her. I am praying that God will especially comfort her young students and her family members. I also want to express my sincere sympathy to Janelle. Janelle was my camp counselor at Bible Camp in Story City, IA when I accepted Christ as my Savior. May God give you comfort in the very difficult time. In Christ's love, Joyce Tjarks "

"My heartfelt sympathy goes to Kathy's family. Kathy and I go way back to high school band and school plays together. I always knew Kathy to be warm and sincere in her interactions with everyone. She treated all with respect and caring. I'm sure she was a wonderful teacher. She graduated from high school with my husband, Ross, and I had the good fortune to see Kathy this past summer at their class reunion. We enjoyed some good fellowship and reminiscing about the good ole days in high school. She was the same sweet and sincere Kathy that I remembered from high school days. Although her students will miss her as will her family and friends, she is secure with her heavenly Father. I feel fortunate to have had Kathy as a friend and schoolmate. Blessings to her parents! You raised a wonderful daughter! Sincerely, Kim (Hayworth)Bosworth, Klemme class of 74)"

"I have known Kathy since being classmates at Dordt College. We got reacquainted when she moved to Prinsburg. She taught all four of our children at CMCS. Kathy and I also enjoyed making crafts in our home extension group for many years. She often talked of getting our group back together in her home for one more time of crafting. She was excited about buying her first home in Prinsburg and shared her joy decorating it. She made the best popcorn cakes. I had been to her place Saturday afternoon, just hours before her death, to pick some up. We shared a laugh that she should go into business making them. Kathy will be missed in our church, school and community. Our sympathy and prayers are with her family. "

In the summer we are only a few miles apart, but summer goes by so fast. We finally got our e-mails going and she sent some wonderful e-cards!!! Our class of 72 of Klemme had a great reunion this summer. She had so much fun taking pictures and bringing pictures she didn't need in her scrapbooks if anyone wanted them. We talked about all the great laughs in 4-H, riding around with cousin Barb, school events, and staying overnight. She was so excited about her trip this summer. Many great memories of her!!
