Julius A. Jadin, 81, Green Bay, returned home to Jesus to relax in his loving arms on Wednesday, July 6, 2005. He was born March 2, 1924, in Brussels, Wisconsin to the late Fred and Libbie (Boucher) Jadin. He married Arlene Vandervelde on June 20, 1942 in Thiry Daems; she preceded him in death September 30, 1975. He married Helen Westerman on May 29, 1981, in Green Bay. Julius owned a cattle business for over 30 years, where he met many friends along the way. He also enjoyed working in his backyard and sitting on his swing. Julius will be remembered as a person who was always willing to help his neighbors and friends. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Helen; two sons, James (Betty) Jadin, Luxemburg and John Jadin, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; two daughters, Louann (Dean) Gietz, Algoma and Cheryl (Richard) Delebreau, Kewaunee; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Jadin and husband, Paul; eight grandchildren, Lynn (Brian) Seidl; Jerome (Tina) Jadin; Janell (Charlie) Woldt; Jesse Jadin; Deanna Gietz; Dean Gietz, Jr; Stacy (Dale) Kinjerski; and Casey (Shane) Delebreau; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Norbert (Eileen) Jadin; one sister; Jillian (Donald) Laluzerene; nine stepchildren, Henry (Judy)Westerman, Green Bay; Mary (Roger) VanDeHey, Green Bay; Betty Westerman, Green Bay; Tom (Bonnie) Westerman, Fond Du Lac; Jerry (Dana) Westerman, Benicia, California; Judy (Jim) Smith, Omro; Connie (Wally) Starr, Milwaukee; Rita (Ray) Delforge, Green Bay; and Patricia Westerman and Gary Engledinger, Green Bay; 15 step-grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, Arlene, he was preceded in death by one son, Gary; his step-son-in-law, James Jaworski, Sr. and his step-grandson, James Jaworski, Jr. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Willebrord Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ken DeGroot, O.Praem officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
