Ethel Blom, 96, of Green Bay, was called to her heavenly home on March 12, 2005. She was born on January 24, 1909, to the late Albert and Amelia (Olson) Weisnicht. She married Adolph Blom on April 21, 1928 and he preceded her in death August of 1987. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, fishing, playing cards, knitting and sewing quilts at home and with friends at Trinity. She will be greatly missed by many. Survivors include Donna (Loyal) Weishoff, Clintonville; Douglas (Vivian) Blom, Fort Atkinson; Gerald (Gloria) Blom, Green Bay; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Leonard (Pat) Weisnicht, Leroy (Phyllis) Weisnicht; sister-in-laws, Lucille and Vanessa Weisnicht; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Adolph, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sally, son-in-law, Ralph Reeves, two great-grandchildren, four sisters and three brothers. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 330 S. Broadway, where the funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael R. Baucon officiating. Burial will follow at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
