Mrs. John ?Jack? (Grace) Williams, 70, died Thursday, October 26, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born November 27, 1935, to the late Raymond and Martha (Kotlarek) Francken in Milwaukee. On May 14, 1960, she married Jack Williams. Grace was a beautician by trade and was employed by Gold Bond Ice Cream and Sally's Beauty Supply. She was an active member at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church; a member of the Lettercarriers Auxiliary #413; a volunteer for the Salvation Army; a Eucharistic Minister for St. Mary's Hospital and the Brown County Jail; and an active member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and the West Side YMCA Active Seniors. Grace was an avid golfer and loved to bowl. She was a wonderful, loving, giving mother and grandma, and a devoted wife.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Jack; five children and their spouses, Mary Kay and Mark Wagner, Green Bay; Patricia and Bob Peters, Green Bay; Thomas and Linda Williams, Maryland; Michael J. Williams, Green Bay; and Jean Rae and Andy Kellner, Green Bay; 12 grandchildren, Tina, David, Mitchell, Tara, Jacob, Landon, Misha, Angela, Michael, Craig, Nathan and Sarah; her sister and special friend, Violet (Marvin ?Blackie?) Calewarts, Allouez; special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jim Williams and parents-in-law, John H. and Caroline Williams.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 30, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a Lettercarriers Auxiliary Service will be held at 6:30 P.M. and a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 31, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere.
