Raymond A. "Ray" Mura

Raymond A. ?Ray? Mura, 79, Green Bay, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006 at his home. He was born on Nov. 14, 1926 to the late Albert and Margaret (DePrey) Mura. He served in U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. On Nov. 19, 1949, he married the former Audrey Dugan. Ray was employed by Krueger International for 35 years. He loved flowers, woodworking and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Audrey; three children: Kevin (Janice) Mura, Minde (Charles) Peters, and Terry Mura; five grandchildren: Aaron (Kelly) Mura, Christopher (Angelina) Mura, Kenneth Mura, Nathan (Nicole) Peters and Audra Peters (fianc?, Tom Schlender); and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Angel Peters; six sisters: Gertrude, Nora, Elaine, Mary, LaVerne and Patricia; and one infant brother.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation continues after 1:30 pm. Friday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S. Oneida St., where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Paul Pett. Interment in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
Ray's family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Gerald Bayer and the staff of Green Bay Oncology as well as the ?angels? of Unity hospice, especially Shannon, Linda, Mary and Holly.
?I love you today more than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow.?
