Catherine Gelbke

Catherine M. Gelbke, 93, Green Bay, died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at her home. She was born on Oct. 23, 1915 in Green Bay. She married William C. Gelbke and worked as a seamstress from home for many years.
Survivors include one daughter and two sons-in-law: Elsie and Lloyd Johnson, The Villages, FL and Pound, WI, and Roger Leurquin, Green Bay; eight grandchildren: Steven (Tracey) Beardsley, Paul Beardsley, David Hock, Cindy Delsart, Mark Leurquin, Greg Leurquin, Timothy (Michelle) Johnson, and Jamie (Jim) Wingert; 11 great grandchildren: Katherine Johnson, Alyssa Johnson, Anne Wingert, Spencer Wingert, Wesley Wingert, Jason Delsart, Michael Delsart, Tyler Delsart, Spencer Delsart, Rebecka Beardsley, and Navarena Beardsley; one great, great grandchild: Jack Delsart; one sister-in-law: Evie Gelbke; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her husband, Catherine was preceded in death by one son, William A. Gelbke, two daughters: Beverly Beardsley and Jeanne Leurquin; one son-in-law: Michael Beardsley; her mother and step father: Octavia and Otto Patzke; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Josephine and Hank Mertens, and Rose Jules Van Ess; one brother and sister-in-law: John and Betty Patzke; four brothers-in-law: Paul (Dorothy) Gelbke, Eric (Agnes) Gelbke, Al (Mardel) Gelbke and Carl Gelbke; and two sisters-in-law: Gertrude (Jules) Wismer and Helen (John) Indra.
In accordance with the wishes of Catherine's family, private services will be held.
