Dolores Ratajczak

Dolores K. Ratajczak, 73, Ashwaubenon, died Thursday, April 14, 2011. She was born December 11, 1937 to the late Joseph and Gladys (Loy) Romuald in the Town of Eaton. She was a 1955 graduate of Luxemburg High School. On October 11, 1958 she married Jerome Ratajczak at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church.
Dolores was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, a past member of People to People and a former Stanley Home Products dealer. She loved to bake and will be remembered for her cakes, bread and donuts. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. Dolores was very proud of her children and found much joy from her grandchildren. She will be forever in our hearts.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jerome; her five children and their spouses, Larry and Judy Ratajczak, Howard; Cindy and Joe Coel, Craig, Colorado; Wendy and Jim Allen, Green Bay; Steve Ratajczak and his friend, Lisa, Manitowoc; and Linda McCabe, Green Bay; twelve grandchildren, Christopher, Gretchen, Eric, Amy, Conrad, Ryan, Stephanie, Brittany, Jameson, MacKenzie, Ashley and Hudson; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Jim and Mary Lee Romuald, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Richard and Pam Romuald and Norman Romuald, all of Green Bay; Joan (John) Atkins, Pulaski and Marcey Pelnar, Green Bay; one brother-in-law, Lucas (Helen) Ratajczak, Brillion; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Calvin; her parents-in-law, Lucas and Emily Ratajczak; and other members of Jerome's family, Virginia (Eugene) Salaty, Adelle (Elmer) Flegle, Charlotte Ratajczak, Jim Pelnar, Cliff Destree and Diana Ratajczak.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Monday, April 18, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a parish wake service will take place at 7 pm. Visitation will continue after 10 am Tuesday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am with the Rev. Doug Le Captain officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
The family would like to express a gratitude to Dolores' physicians, Dr. Mary Sauvey, and Dr. Kevin Rosteing and the compassionate staff of Unity Hospice, especially Lora, for the special care that they provided.
