Irma Bennett

Irma Graf Bennett (Mrs. Harold L.) 97, Green Bay, died Easter Sunday morning, April 24, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born to the late Paul and Alma (Poehler) Graf on April 21, 1914. She was the second oldest of six children. She graduated from Green Bay West High School with high honors at the age of 16 (1930) and worked in the office for the Morley-Murphy Company and Green Bay Packaging. On September 7, 1935, she married Harold L. Bennett; he preceded her in death in 1977.
Survivors include her children, Robert Bennett, Mountain and his family, granddaughters, Lisa (Patrick) McFarlane and Lori Bennett, all of Green Bay, grandson, Brian Bennett, Mountain, grand son-in-law, Dan VanStraten, Suamico, great granddaughter, Brianna Bennett, Green Bay, great-grandsons, Alex and Joe VanStraten, both of Suamico; her daughter, Patricia (Wilmer �Bubb� II) Lidke, Green Bay and her son, Wilmer Bennett Lidke III (Sonya), Midland, Michigan; her daughter, Jeanne (Michael) Karcz and her son, Adam Karcz, all of Green Bay; two sisters, Elaine Dearborn, Twain Haute, California and Ione (Lloyd) Jackson, Spokane, Washington; a sister-in-law, Doris Graf, Madison, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Harold, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law and grandchild, Judy Bennett and Lynn Bennett VanStraten; a sister, brother-in-law and niece, Bernadette, Charles and Carol Peirce, Oshkosh; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Don Graf, Madison and Franklin and Geraldine Graf, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a brother-in-law, Jim Dearborn, Twain Haute, California.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 am Wednesday, April 27, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1423 Kellogg Street where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am with the Rev. Don Everts officiating. Buriql will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyncahl.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Irma�s name by the family.
