Janet Bigelow, 82, passed away Wednesday morning, May 4, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 10, 1928 to the late Conrad and Johanna (Hoffbauer) Gerhartz in Fond du Lac, WI. Janet was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School.
In 1947, she married Kerm Bigelow at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. During their 33 years of marriage they owned and operated Kerm's Bar. They raised five children.
On May 4th, 1985, Janet married Lowell Bramschreiber. They shared 26 joyous years together. Janet enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Spain, New York and to Hilton Head. Her favorite pastimes were golf, playing cards, bowling and cheering for the Green Bay Packers .
Janet was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished the time spent with her family and was very proud of their accomplishments.
Survivors include her husband, Lowell Bramschreiber, five children and their spouses, Tom, Jerry (Gloria), Dan, Jane (Kenneth) Newlun and Angie (Todd) Siebert; her five grandchildren, Kelly (Joel) De Moulin, Kyle Bigelow, Mary Ellen (Nick) Vande Yacht, Brandon Bigelow and Charlie Siebert; great-grandchildren, twins, Jake and Paige De Moulin and Logan Konitzer, Alayna and Rhiana Vande Yacht; step-children, Mary (Richard) Burns, Linda Bramschreiber and Carol Bramschreiber and their children, Brice, Aiden, Bailey and Corey; one brother, Robert (Yvonne) Gerhartz; two sisters, Lea Gerhartz, and Nancy Daniels; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kerm Bigelow and brother Conrad Gerhartz.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Sister Pat Clement officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
