Heather Nichole Fuller, 29, Saint Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011. Heather was born on March 14, 1982 in San Antonio, TX. Born with an extremely serious heart condition, she underwent three open-heart surgeries by age seven.
She died quickly, while out with friends, of heart-related causes just before midnight at Saint Mary's Hospital in Saint Louis, MO, where she was currently residing.
Heather moved to Green Bay, WI when she was seven years old and went to Southwest High School, where the last two years she spent on the Southwest Troyette Dance Team. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2004 with a Political Science degree, and had spent the last few years working for Enterprise Rent A Car as a Customer Service Manager. She had planned to return to school this August to obtain her Physics Doctorate.
Heather was an animal lover, a vegan, and a staunch environmentalist. She was beautiful inside and out. While she had no family living in Saint Louis, she was surrounded by her fabulous friends who were her extended family. Our heartfelt thanks goes out, most especially, to Isaac & Sabrina Moreno and Nicole Walker.
What we think of first about Heather is her love of family, friends, children, animals, and the Earth. While she couldn't have the children she wanted due to her heart condition, Heather never felt sorry for herself and refused to let anything slow her down. She lived each day to the fullest. She was bubbly, funny, kind, loving, a hard worker, and she really wanted to leave her mark on the world. While she didn't live long enough to achieve her long-term goals, she did affect all she knew. At the very end, as a donor, she was able to save and/or help 50 to 75 people.
On her father's side, Heather is survived by her dad, William Fuller and his wife, Gladys; half-sister, Sarah; her aunt Tawana and uncle Whitney Booth, her aunt Judy; and her first cousins, Travis, Gregory and Taylor.
On her mother's side, Heather is survived by her mother, Leslie Tagge; step-sister, Stacy; step-brother, Andy Ciha; grandmother, Lois Tagge; aunt Sunny and uncle Louie Archaumbault (who were extremely precious to her), uncle Jerry and aunt Betty Tagge, aunt Lois and uncle Ed Van den Heuvel and aunt Debbie Tagge. She is also survived by her first cousins, Robert Jensen, Scot Mason, Kelly Frontuto, Keri Jeffers, Nathan Edie, Zachary Tagge, Cassandra Tagge and Ron Tagge and all of their spouses and children.
She is also survived by her two beloved cats, Sauda and Daciana.
She is preceded in death by her cousin, Karen Marie; grandpa Fuller, grandpa Tagge; aunt Sally Jensen; her beloved cousin, Michael Mason; her grandma Fuller and her uncle Bill.
Heather died too soon. She had so much left that she wanted to do. But she was happy and lived her life well and brought nothing but joy to those who knew her. We loved her well and will miss her terribly.
Heather, we miss you more than any words could express.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Lyndahl Funeral Home from 10 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 noon with Funeral Celebrant Matthew Cornelius officiating and Jay Jensen singing. Interment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Heather's name.
