Stanley Jacquet, Sr.

Stanley S. Jacquet ,Sr., 68, Green Bay, passed away at home after a long battle with mesothelioma. He was born September 24, 1942 to the late Elmira and Harrison Jacquet, Sr. in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. On March 11, 1966, he married Lin in Green Bay. Stanley enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards, flea markets, and rummage sales.
He is survived by his wife, Lin, Green Bay; two sons, Stan Jr. �..."Jay” and Thomas �..."Tommer” (Laura) Jacquet; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lydia Bosman, Sturgeon Bay, Elaine Roskom, Black Creek and Jean Allen, Green Bay; one brother, Harrison Jacquet, Jr., Mountain; four sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law, Nancy and Bruce Hansen, Marysville, WA, Marguerite Dana and friend, Mark Van Dreel, Charlene and Burt De Keyser, all of Green Bay, Bob and Lynn Frost, Algoma; and further survived by his extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Chum and Betty Laway; two sisters, Sandra Jacquet and Millie DeWitt; two brothers, Eugene and Russ Jacquet; three brothers-in-law, Larry Allen, Hank Bosman and Tom O’Connell; and one sister-in-law, Jean Jacquet.
Visitation will be held after 5 pm Wednesday, July 27, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a memorial service will take place at 7 pm with Chaplain Bob Nooker officiating.
A memorial fund has been established in Stanley’s name.
Lin, her sons and family would like to thank Dr. David Groteluschen and Dr. Paul Koch, the staff of Unity Hospice, Virginia, Sue, Carrie, Linda, Sara and Laurie and all of the nurses for all of the care given to Stanley. They also would like to thank all of the 4th floor nursing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, especially Fran and Molly and Chaplain Bob Nooker for the care and concern given Stanley and his family.
