"We first met Julie when we added our corgi puppy Annie to our family. Julie, Roger and Bud then Rocky were great pals of ours. It was always such a delight to meet Julie and Rocky on walkies while we were walking Annie as the corgis were happy to see each other and we were always happy to see Julie! She always had a smile on her face and was a most generous soul. We will miss seeing her on walks. Please accept our deepest sympathies on your loss. She can never be replaced!"

"To Julie's family, We are deeply saddened to learn of your beloved Julie's passing. Our thoughts and hearts are with you. We learned to know Julie as a friend and neighbor when you lived on California Ave. She always greeted us on her daily walks with a smile and wave or stopped for a chat. We enjoyed with her the 'furry ones', first Bud-then Rocky, excitement for the recumbant bike, planting a tree at Jenna's in Colorado, or exclaiming over the mileage she had rode or walked for that week.It was a blistery winter morning and Lyle was recuperating from major spinal surgery. We heard scraping noises outside and looked out to see Julie shoveling our sidewalk! We were blown away with appreciation for her generousity and thoughtfulness. She was really special and we too shall miss her. In sympathy, Lily Lee and Lyle V. Miller"

I enjoyed playing with her daughter, Jenna, when we were children, and I remember how Julie always used to make the best chocolate chip cookies for us! She tutored me in math for a while, and was an excellent teacher that always made learning fun! She always had a warmth and energy about her that was uplifting to be around. My heart goes out to you Roger and Jenna...She will be missed dearly, but always live on in our hearts. My prayers are with you both during this time. Blessings to you all. "
