Rosabelle Ida Breunig
March 1, 1927 - November 6, 2011

Rosabelle Ida (Benisch) Breunig, age 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by members of her family on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Rosie was born on March 1, 1927 to Oscar and Florence (Lessner) Benisch and spent her years growing up in the East Bristol and Sun Prairie area. She married Melvin Gilbert Breunig from Roxbury on October 2, 1951. They farmed in the Waunakee area until 1989. Her husband preceded her in death on February 1st, 2004. The past 2 years Rosie resided at the Nekoosa Retirement Center where she enjoyed playing bingo and watching the big screen tv with her many friends. Thursday nights were special 'buck burger' nights with her son and daughter-in-law.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Bob) Foss of Madison, and two sons, Dean (Katy) Breunig of Port Edwards, and Mike Breunig of Mauston; seven grandchildren, Pam (TJ) Johnson, Kyle (Maretta) Zilic, Jon Breunig, Adam (Angela) Breunig, Kristina (Eric) Bybee, Shannon and Nicole Breunig; and 4 great grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Jerome Benisch of Sun Prairie, two sisters, Delores Drunasky of Sun Prairie, Virginia Bedner of Monona, and in-laws, Vincent Statz, Betty Benisch, Shirley Benisch, Hazel Benisch, Mary Breunig, Dale Breunig, Cyrilla Nawrocki, and Jim Masak, many nieces and nephews, and friends, especially Lynn Marie Mayfield Schwann.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Linus,; sister, Arlene Statz, brothers, LaVern, Willie, and Don; in-laws, Mary Benisch, Bernard Drunasky, Frances Bedner, Augusta and Larry Zins, Wilfred Breunig, Viola and Ed Schroeder, Leo Breunig, Eugene and Bernadette Breunig, Milo, Charlotte, and Lenita Breunig, Clarence Henn, Ed Nawrocki, and Carina Masak.
Funeral services will be held on Fri. Nov. 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St John's Catholic Church 209 South St Waunakee, Rev David Carrano will officiate.

Friends may call at the Winn Funeral Home in Waunakee on Thursday, November 10th from 5pm to 8pm and at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
