Robert Valk
September 17, 1961 - December 2, 2011

Robert D. Valk, 50, Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on September 17, 1961 to Iris( Mielke) Valk and the late Bernard Valk. He married Lorin Aitchison on April 29, 1989.

Bob had worked in retail for over 25 years and later was employed with the Bemis Company. he was an avid Packer and Badger fan and as of recently a Brewer fan. Bob enjoyed playing darts, loved spending time in his backyard and entertaining. He liked listening to Country and 50's music. Bob will be sadly missed by his dog, Cocoa.

He is survived by his wife, Lorin; his mother, Iris Valk; a brother, Roger Valk; a niece, Tina (Mike) Sullivan; and a great-nephew, Connor, sister-in-law; Eleanor Perron Valk.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Bernard, two brothers, James and Richard Valk and a sister, Janice Schoen.

Visitation will be held at Lyndahl Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 2 pm until the funeral service at 5 pm with Reverend Luke Ferris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bob's name.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dar and the entire staff at Aurora Hospital in Oshkosh. A special thank you to Sister Margrit and Rev. Luke, family and friends for all of their support.
