Michael Silver
February 27, 1945 - December 3, 2011

Michael "Mike" Silver was born on February 27, 1945, in Worthington, Minnesota to Daniel and Margaret (Krukemeyer) Silver. He was baptized in 1945 and later confirmed at the Catholic Church in Brewster, Minnesota. He attended school in Brewster and graduated in 1963.

On October 24, 1964, Mike was united in marriage to Georgia Osterkamp in Kingsford, Michigan. This marriage was blessed with five children, Bonita, Little Mike, John, Kimberly, and Kip. Mike enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1983. After spending twenty years in the Air Force, Mike worked for the Civil Service for twenty-five in years San Antonio, TX. After Retirement from the Civil Service in 2007, Mike and Georgia moved to Windom, Minnesota.

Mike passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Windom Area Hospital at the age of 66 with his family by his side.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Silver of Windom; four children, Bonita Franco and her husband, Armand, of Enterprise, AL, Kimberly Campos and her husband, Claude, of LaVernia, TX, John Silver of Windom, and Kip Silver of Windom; seven grandchildren; one brother, John Silver and his wife, Cathy, of Lakeville; one sister, Patricia Reinhardt and her husband, Paul, of Windom; and several other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Michael John Silver (Little Mike).
