Barbara Kress
August 7, 2008

Memorials are requested to the Circle of Life Hospice in Chariton, SE Warren Athletic Boosters, or the Chariton Girls Softball.

Barbara was born in Webster City, Iowa to George and Lela Zugg on August 18, 1938. She is described as a saint to those who knew her well and those she cared for. Since she was young she took care of family members and friends. She was full of life, fun loving, yet strong willed and always did what had to be done. She got strength from her family and loved her children and grandchildren greatly. Barbara liked to be involved and enjoyed watching her families' activities.

Barbara surrounded herself with people. She worked at a resort in Arizona while she lived there, at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center, and drove the special needs bus for SE Warren Schools.

Barbara passed away August 7, 2008 in Chariton. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother George Zugg; and a sister Karen. She is survived by her children: Deb (Bret) Seuferer of Chariton, Chuck (Keri) Cleveland Jr. of Milo, and Teri (Vonnie) Doss of Ackworth; 4 grandchildren; siblings: David (Lynn) Zugg and Ed (Cindy) Zugg both of Phoenix, Jim (Judy) Zugg of Long Beach, MS, and Bob Zugg of Waldorf, MD; Tom (Sue) Jones of St. Paul, MN, and sister-in-law Marty Zugg of Des Moines; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
