Shirley was born February 8, 1946 in Pleasantville to Donovan and Dorothy Pack. She graduated from Melcher-Dallas High School in 1964. She was married to Arthur Seddon on October 16, 1965 at the Methodist Church in Melcher. They were blessed with two children: Michelle and David. Shirley worked as the City Clerk of Melcher-Dallas for 30 years.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family. They were always on the go: sprint car races, camping, boating, and traveling. She loved being Grandma. Her grandchildren and their friends came and stayed many weekends. Shirley and Art were always going somewhere or doing something, but her family will always remember that she was always there for her family.
Shirley passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010 and was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara JoAnn Graham. She will be missed by her husband, Arthur; children: Michelle (Jerrel) Slinkard of Melcher-Dallas and Dave Seddon of Knoxville; 8 grandchildren: Haley Seddon, Jacob Wadle, Derek Seddon, Kenneth Wadle, Mallary Wadle, Jerren Slinkard, Aaron Seddon, and Mataya Hoover; a brother Larry (Linda) Pack; and many relatives and friends.
