Tributes

John Stacy & Family wrote on Sep 23, 2010:

"Mary, Henry, Judy: 9-23,2010 Our deepest prayers are with you as you mourn the passing of your father this week. I can never begin to tell you the special place your mom and dad have always held in the hearts of each member of our family. The Christian love and support they gave to us when dad passed away in 1971 have remained with us each day of our lives. Earnie is truly the luckiest man in the world this day. Awaiting him was Christ with open arms and a wide open door welcoming him with words Earnie had lived and hoped for his entire life: "Welcome faithful servant, I have prepared a place for you." While we will miss Earnie dearly and will mourn deeply for him, we celebrate his Baptism, Confirmation, a life of Christian Service, and death in the true Christian faith which he held dear to his heart. Ruth, Larry, Linda, David, Cheryl, John Stacy & Families"

"We extend our sympathies to the family. Some of the immediate family may not know my wife and I but I am ernie's cousin. While I am to years younger, I remember attending many Fight farmily reunions and dinners with him. I was introduced to horshoes at Uncle Ed and Aunt Nannies place during some of the family dinners. I am sorry we cannot attend the service tomorrow but my wife, Katleen just had knee replacement surgery and has a follow up doctor's appointment tomorrow. Keith Gunzenhauser "

"Dear Family, I always considered Uncle Earnie as the quiet type. As I got older I realized I was wrong...When he had something to say I learned to listen. God Bless you all as you go through this diffuclt time. Knowing he is not in pain and now sitting with his love at Jesus' feet. She can hear his quiet voice and maybe he can get a word in, well maybe.... Love you all Lori"
