Patricia Josephine McGinn was born September 29, 1927 in Maquoketa, Iowa to Leonard Joseph and Marion Loretta Furrow McGinn. Her family moved to Davenport when she was a teenager and she graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy in 1946. In 1950 Pat was married to Frank Dugger in Davenport and blessed with three daughters: Lisa, Lynn, and Mary.

Pat worked at various banks as a proof operator, in Davenport and then after moving to Knoxville worked at Community Bank until retiring in 1961 to raise her girls. Her life revolved around her home and family. Pat also worked as a part-time bookkeeper in Knoxville but, made motherhood her career and loved it.

Pat used her creativity in embroidery, writing, decorating, flowers, and collecting unique treasurers. She belonged to St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Knoxville, the Altar & Rosary Society, and was a Girl Scout Leader. Pat enjoyed going through old family photos and history and telling stories of growing up. Pat had a wonderful sense of humor using it to make new friends and get through the tough times. Family was very important to her and loved having her children, grandchildren, and extended family for dinners and holidays.

Pat passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 5, 2011 at the Circle of Life Hospice - Legacy Lodge in Chariton at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Dugger; her parents; infant twin brothers; and sister Helen Murphy.
