"From the first day Richie came racing into my classroom as a first grader until well into his middle school years, I observed a young man with a keen intellect and a love of the world around him. Most importantly, he loved his sister and brother. He spoke fondly of Tiffany and was thrilled when his little brother, Daniel, was born. I don't know anyone else who could be nice to everyone even when they were mad at him he would always be so nice to them. He could be a little wild at times but its part of what made Richie himself. I remember when he came over to my house all the time and we'd go for walks in the freezing cold for no apparent reason besides just to talk. I could talk to him about anything and he would listen to me. Even through the ridiculous stuff he listened and helped me through all my problems. I only wish I could do the same for him now. Im going to miss watching that kid getting into the back of my truck with a big smile on his face, eating supper over at the house and always complimenting my mother's cooking. He was very polite when we all hung out. Me, him, my brother, and my brother's friend Brian would always just sit at the house and record ourselves talking for hours. We always thought it was dumb to just sit and talk while recording but now I'm glad I did it. He was my best friend and I will miss him a lot. Rest In Piece Richie, I'll see you again someday bro."
