Deanna Lind wrote on Dec 21, 2011:

"From the first day Richie came racing into my classroom as a first grader until well into his middle school years, I observed a young man with a keen intellect and a love of the world around him. I'll never forget how he loved to write about his walks in the woods, his times of communing with nature. He loved to learn and would often report how he had read something very interesting to him. Most importantly, he loved his sister and brother. He spoke fondly of Tiffany and was thrilled when his little brother, Daniel, was born. I am so sad, realizing that Richie didn't have the opportunity to fulfill the potential he carried with him. My symphonies go out to his family and to all his Central Lee friends."

Matthew Vermazen wrote on Dec 20, 2011:

"Dear Wilkerson Family, I am truly sorry for the loss of a loved one. He is missed by many, and always will be. School without him, just doesn't seem the same.It seems like there isn't as much laughter and smiling seen in the hallways as there used to be.Richie impacted everyones lives greatly, including mine, and I didn't even know him as well as some other people did.But now that he's gone,i regret not talking to him more, and getting to know him better. When i talked to him, he always seemed to have only positive things to say, never anything negative, and he always seemed to know how to make people feel better,no matter what their mood was.I wish now more then ever, that i had gotten to know this young man better, for i know how great of a person Richie was,and thats the kind of person I wanna be.You don't see many people with the same attitude as he had these days, and losing him was a tragedy.I am honest sorry for you, the Wilkerson Family, for the loss of this great Young Man,if you ever need to talk, feel free to Email me, no matter what the time of day, I'll be there to talk to you. R.I.P. Richie Wilkerson, take it easy up there man,I hope to see you again someday. "

Kierstyn McClain wrote on Dec 20, 2011:

"What I'll miss about Richie the most is his amazing smile. It was almost impossible to keep from smiling when he flashed his. He was irreplaceable. I don't know anyone else who could be nice to everyone even when they were mad at him he would always be so nice to them. He could be a little wild at times but its part of what made Richie himself. I remember when he came over to my house all the time and we'd go for walks in the freezing cold for no apparent reason besides just to talk. I could talk to him about anything and he would listen to me. Even through the ridiculous stuff he listened and helped me through all my problems. I only wish I could do the same for him now. Im going to miss watching that kid getting into the back of my truck with a big smile on his face, eating supper over at the house and always complimenting my mother's cooking. He was very polite when we all hung out. Me, him, my brother, and my brother's friend Brian would always just sit at the house and record ourselves talking for hours. We always thought it was dumb to just sit and talk while recording but now I'm glad I did it. He was my best friend and I will miss him a lot. Rest In Piece Richie, I'll see you again someday bro."

Your in a better place Now. And i hope you happy now :) You deserve that much! I love and miss you Bud. Rest In Peace "
