Lorraine Stolen, 85, of Hampton, died on January 22, 2012, at the Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility in Hampton, Iowa. She was born on January 26, 1926, in Lake Mills, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Sarah (Dolen) Mostrom. Lorraine graduated from Lake Mills High School with the class of 1944. On January 27, 1945, she was united in marriage to Roy Stolen. Lorraine worked as a bookkeeper for Easter's Super Valu, Mason City, Iowa for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hampton. Lorraine enjoyed cooking, puzzles, working in her yard and garden, an occasional trip to the casino, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Roy of Hampton, four children, Richard (Donna) Stolen of Victoria, Minnesota, Cynthia (Doug) Miller of Hampton, Steven (Rob) Stolen of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Robert (Jane) Stolen on Atkins, Iowa, a brother, Marvill Mostrom of Vinton, Iowa, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Arthur, Jr., Virgil, Arnell, Truman, Spencer, and Dale, and a sister, Gladys. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hampton or the Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility.
