Allison was born on November 2, 1984, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Todd and Sara Wiggs Stych. She was a Muscatine High School graduate, class of 2003.
She was a member of the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish, Optimae Endeavors Groups, and the Muscatine Community Family Y.
Allison enjoyed spending time with her friends at Harmony House; listening to music, watching movies and the interaction with her peers & caregivers.
She treasured the many walks with friends and family, swimming at the "Y" and strolling through the malls.
She valued her social gatherings with friends and the many opportunities they shared with her.
Allison will be remembered most by her beautiful smile and bright eyes. Those who knew her could look into her eyes and understand her needs. What Allison loved most was being surrounded by her family; whether it was for holidays, birthdays, or just having fun.
Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Todd and Sara Stych of Muscatine; one brother, Corey Stych of Muscatine; two sisters, Jennifer Stych and her son, Trey, and Emily Stych, all of Muscatine; her grandparents, Maynard and Joyce Stych of Muscatine, and Arlen and Patricia Wiggs of Sioux City, Iowa; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

"Allison was a remarkable human beinging full of love and smiles. I will treasure the special moments Allison and I spent while I worked at Hamony House. Allison enjoyed the hours of messaging her feet and body, which she didn't want me to do to anyone one else. May God help you in your great loss and guide our precious angel through heavenly gates."
"I treasure the memories I had with the care of Allie in your home so many years ago. I still remember kissing those chubby cheeks and hearing her delightful giggle. She had been born to the best family that could care for her. She was blessed as you were blessed to have her in your lives. I grieve with you in this difficult time. Love to you and your family."
"Todd and Sara I would like to thank you for giving me the priveleage to have met such a special person, she was truly one of a kind. Allison and I along Chelsea made so many great memories, Allison sure loved to check out the boys, go shopping, getting her eye brows waxed ( yeah right!! she would get mad at me an entire day when I did that to her,) getting her nails painted, going to the movies, she was just your average 27 year old! One of my cherished memories was when we took Allison down to the Thai restaurant to have lunch with Sara and Courtney and of course Sara just had to give her a spoon full of hot and spicy soup.. Just imagine Allies face she turned bright red and mad at her mom. Let's not forget my pregnancy days in where she would laugh at me when I couldn't roll her over to reposition her because my stomach would get in the way. Miss you like crazy Allicat...Love you :)"
"I am thinking about you and your entire family Sara. My deepest condolences to you and Todd. May you find some kind of peace knowing that your daughter is in a good place and will no longer feel pain."

"Todd & Sara and Family: You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Let your memories be beautiful of Allison's life and your time together. Thinking of you! "
"Todd Sara Jennifer Corey and Emily I have always been so proud of the way you took care of Allison. She was always loved and made to feel special. Taking care of a child with "special needs" is a tremendous committment but you did it with style and grace. Allison never wanted for anything and was always loved and cared for. I remember you taking the girls to a Christmas program and came home to find Corey singing Christmas carols to Allison. She has left her mark on Muscatine with her pretty smile and eyes she was loved by everyone that came in contact with her. I will treasure my mornings with her and Sunday afternoons reading to her or taking her for a walk. She has given us something very special that we can remember the rest of our lives. She is a peace now . Love Mom/Joyce/Grams "

"Sara, Todd and Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Allison was a very special young lady and will be missed by all who knew her. I will never forget when I first started working with Allie and I asked her if it was ok if I fed her. Even without words, her reaction spoke volumes. Allie turned her head and looked at me with this very annoyed expression and then rolled her eyes. She definately knew how to express herself and was not afraid to do so. I feel blessed to have known Allie and will miss her dearly."

"The first two people I met in Muscatine were Sara and Allison. I will never forget standing at the back of church rocking a fussy Leo. I look to my right, and there is Sara rocking Allison the very same way. From that day on, Leo and Allison were classmates all the way through school. I am grateful to have known her and your family. She was a beautiful girl with an amazing spirit, and a smile each time I talked to her. Your family gave Allison 27 years of amazing and unconditional love, and I know she gave that right back to you. I'm deeply sorry, and I hope the love of friends and family, strength from God will help you through this. Love you guys "

"I spent time with Allie several years ago. She was always quite happy and had a smile that would light up the room! We would spend time reading books and listening to cartoons and CMT. I will always remember the photo of Allie's grandma (I think)that looked so much like Allie.Heaven gained a beautiful angel to watch over you all. May you find comfort and peace."
"I got the privilege to see Allie almost every day of the week. I'm so lucky to have gotten the chance to know her over the last three years. She's an amazing girl and I will miss her dearly. I always loved doing her hair and trying out my "beauty salon" tricks. I will miss her smile and her laugh. I won't ever forget when Karla and I were helping her get ready for the day and she had a towel just under her chin and she stuck out her tongue to lick it. We broke out into song very similar to the Cotton commercials. I looked at her and sang, "The touch, the feel, the taste of cotton, fabric of our lives..." Allie looked up, got the biggest smile on her face, and laughed harder than I had ever heard her laugh before. One of many memories I will cherish forever. ~Love you Allie"

"It was always a great to come in and see Miss Allie when she was smiling or even if she was "yelling" at us. The years I have spent working with Allie and spending time with her and all of you guys are some of the best. I will miss her everyday but know she is still with us always. I am so happy that Ellis got to meet her and spend time with her. She always liked to sit on the couch next to Allie and pat her cheek or try to climb all over her. Love to you all."
