"Ron-
I was sorry to see that your Dad passed away. I didn't know him well, but my daughters actually have one of his rocking chairs; Dawn, Lori, Tjode and Audrey got it for them. We have kept it safe and sound, and still treasure it. My sympathy to you and your family."

"Ronnie and the rest of Vic's family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but at the same time am very happy that Vic is at peace. I met him at The Bergen Bar and Grill where he dined very frequently. I'll never forget his order... A plain hamburger and coffee. When you asked him how his hamburger was, his reply never varied. It was always "terrible", as usual. He was a very gentle soul and I feel privileged to have been able to wait on him over the years at the bar. We will all miss him terribly. My deepest sympathy to you all... "

As a brother I could write a book on all the good times we had together growing up, going into the Service together, fishing trips to Lake Michegan, Missouri river in Dakota and deer hunting in northern Minnesota, his love of cribbage playing. He was also my best friend, In all the times we spent together I especially remember he never had a harsh word with me. He was a true friend."

"Ron & family - My prayers are with you. I will always remember your dad fondly. He was a wonderful uncle. Whenever I was in town, I would go up to the nursing home to see dad and your mom. Always had a nice visit with Uncle Vic too. I always missed out on his ice cream though. I know how much you are going to miss him, but he is with Aunt Lovie now and I know very happy.
