"Dorothy, We're SO saddened to hear of Jack's death. Also so sorry we didn't even know he was ill; we've been out of town for some time and I guess we just didn't get the news. He was such a nice man; we both thought so highly of him. I remember his taking time to go out to Gardenview and take my dad for rides. We always enjoyed visiting with him when he delivered for Jays. Wish we could have sent him a card. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers. J.C. and Mary"

"Dorothy & Family. I was so sorry to hear about Jack. I first met Jack in 1965 and always knew he could be a jokester, and both of us did our best to keep up the jiving on going over the years. My sympathy's for your loss Dorothy, Jack would want you to stay strong and keep on going. I will certainly miss him, but I won't miss him leaning on my door buzzer waiting for me to get his lil darling Bitsy. At times he could be just plain ornery!!! "
