"Larry and rest of the family,
So sorry to hear about Dorothy's passing. I didn't know her very well, but I have heard her play her wonderful music at many mother-daughter banquets in Northboro. I know that Jim's grandparents, Byron and Ruby Scotton new her very well. Just know that she and my dad are watching over all of us to see if we are going on with our lives and that we are staying out of trouble. There are a lot of people here for you at this hard time. Let us know if you need anything.

"Larry and Diane, I'm so sorry hearing of your Mom's passing. Both your parents were so good to Mom and John. Your Dad would drive them to Omaha for John's doctor appointments. Your Mom and Opal would pick up Mom and they went to so many fun places together. My Mom had such good times with them. When my Mom went to Golden Rod they were roommates for a couples of days. Your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Donna Aldaz wrote on Dec 9, 2009:
"I am so sorry to hear the loss of Dorothy. I was employed at Goldenrod Manor for 3 yrs and got the pleasure of being one of her care takers. I will always remember Dorothy for her singing (along with her daughter) and playing the piano (with her son),fot church services, and just to go up and play during the day and start singing. I remember when we would get a new resident how she would welcome them to the nursing home. She was and still is a special lady and now is singing in Heaven with her husband. My prayers are to all the family and friends of Dorothy. We may have lost a special person here on earth but Heaven gained an Angel. God Bless you all. "
