"My condolences to your family at the lose of Mr. Standage. I did not know him but we share the same last name (my maiden name was Standage). My father was Dale Arthur Standage and we are from Bedford. He grew up in College Springs/Clarinda/Bedford areas. His mothers name was Anna Pritchard Standage Ewing and I do not recall his fathers name. They divorced and he later married Vera Standage. Connie Standage Alger is my dad's step sister and she lives in Clarinda. My father is deceased along with his brother Duane. I'm an only child and Duane had 3 children, a girl named Patty, and two sons, Jim and Mike. Mike is deceased and I last I knew Jim resided in Glennwood. I have not known of any other Standages besides Vera and Connie and was surprised to hear the name. I have no idea if we are related or not. I offer my sympathy to you at the lose of Mr. Standage. May the comfort of our Lord Jesus Christ give you strength at this time."
