"In these years that I have known Darrell we did not talk very often although I saw him daily. Whether at the station talking with the guys or driving through town past the shop. Even though the conversation was minimal I knew what a caring person he was. In a time I needed he knew just what to say in a letter - a letter I still have and cherish. He quietly watched out for me and I appreciated it. He will be missed here in Northboro. "
"When ever I got back to Northboro, I made it a point to visit the "guys" at their "coffee" gathering. Darrell was always there with some words of wisdom. He was a large part of Northboro these years. He will be missed. My parents were Gerald and Jean. "
