MUSCATINE, Iowa - Anna Mae Elshoff, 83, of Muscatine, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Lutheran Homes.
Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will be Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Tina Elshoff.
Anna was born on February 5, 1929, in Muscatine, the daughter of Loren L. and Jane Meyer Britcher. She married Robert Elshoff on January 16, 1950, in Texas.
She had worked as a cashier at Sun Mart for over 28 years. She was a member of the St. Mary Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, and doing puzzles.
Survivors include her son, Robert Elshoff and wife, Lilly; two daughters, Marian Elshoff and Theresa Fuhlman and husband, Dennis; a granddaughter, whom she raised as a daughter, Tina Elshoff; five additional grandchildren, Tracey, Jeff, Dora, Racheal, and Maria; 21 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Arthur Britcher, Herbert Britcher, and Ronald Britcher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Bonnie Sue Case on January 25, 2010, and Sandra Elshoff in infancy; two brothers, Billy and Robert Britcher; and two sisters, Betty Johnson and Eloise Britcher.
