Jean E. Curley, 59, of Beloit, Wisconsin, and formerly of Maquoketa, Iowa, died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in her home.

She was born May 24, 1952 in Maquoketa, IA, the daughter of Gerald and Florence (Wall) House. Jean was a 1970 graduate of Maquoketa High School. She married Brian Curley on March 1, 1980 in the Little Brown Church, Nashau, IA.

Jean was employed by CVS Pharmacy as a supervisor. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her husband and training their dogs. Jean was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping with her husband, dogs, and friends. She also enjoyed going on many adventures with her sisters, spending time with her friends, and hosting candle parties.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Brian Curley of Beloit, WI; mother, Florence House of Maquoketa, IA; brothers and sisters, James (Mary) House of Miles, IA, Janet Burnett of Streator, IL, Jerry (Linda) House of Delmar, IA and Jane (Donald) McBride of Bernard, IA; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; three great-great nieces; many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald House, a brother-in-law, Richard Burnett and a great niece, Hannah Goodrich.

A celebration of Jean's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 in Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wisconsin. Visitation will also be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from Carson Celebration of Life Center, Maquoketa, Iowa.
