Sylvia V. Boyd
July 20, 1932 - June 10, 2012

Sylvia Boyd, of White Lake, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at her home. She was 79 years old. She was born on July 20, 1932 in Rhinelander, a daughter of Samuel and Helen (Van Norman) Keso. She married James Boyd on November 21, 1954 at Santa Rosa, New Mexico. He survives.

After marriage she and her husband Jim traveled for many years in southwest United States. They lived in Albuquerque and Roswell New Mexico for 15 years. They moved to Antigo in 1977 where she was employed at Service Dry Cleaners and Langlade Laundry as a press operator. She moved to Elton in 1992.

Mrs. Boyd enjoyed collecting pictures of the family, sewing, camping, attending garage sales and shopping the day after Thanksgiving.

Survivors including her husband are a daughter Penny (Dan) Rustick of Bryant; a son Jimmy Boyd of Slinger; five grandchildren Daniel Rustick and fiancee Amanda Haugh, Dayna Rustick and fiancee Michael Enright, Brandi, Ashton and Destanie Boyd; a great-grandchild Iliana Haugh; three brothers Alvin (Margaret) Keso of Bryant, Everett (Helen) Keso of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Norman (Nancy) Keso of Sugar Camp.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Cody Boyd, a brother, Jim Keso, three sisters Margaret Arrowood, Romona Hitz, Shirley Wright.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Erv Messer officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
