In loving memory of

Theodore Fosdahl
January 26, 1933 - June 20, 2012

Fosdahl, Theodore J.
Stoughton- Theodore J. Fosdahl, Jr. "Teddy" went to his heavenly home after a fierce battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Skaalen Home in Stoughton. Teddy, a.k.a. "Ting-A-Ling" was born on January 26, 1933 in Stoughton to Theodore J. and Eva (Wake) Fosdahl, Sr. He endured many hard times throughout his life, namely having his leg shot off when he was just fourteen years old. This ended his sports career. After graduation from high school, he began his work career at Stoughton cab & Body, then worked until retirement in 1989 at Dorsey Trailers in Edgerton. He and his wife, Carole (Olson) moved from his beloved farm on Leslie Road outside of Stoughton to be close to his daughter and her child, Zoe, in 1995, near Poynette. Teddy and his wife enjoyed good years together until her untimely passing on her 68th birthday on October 15, 2001.
Teddy leaves behind to mourn his loss, his daughter, Laurie Nieting; grandchild, Zoe; his sisters, Lorraine (Bud) Halverson, Genevieve Wilberg, Jean Hestnes; and many other family members; as well as good friends he had throughout his time on this earth. His cherished poodle, Shu-Shu, will especially miss him.
A celebration of his life will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 700 County Hwy. B, Stoughton, on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 am, with a visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Scott Geister-Jones will officiate. Lunch will follow at church. Memorial contributions in Teddy's name may be made to Christ Lutheran Church. Special thanks to his niece, Wendy Olson, for all of her care and concern. -Dad, I thank you for the time we had together. I'm going to miss you so much! Love, Laurie-
