"I wanted to pass along Nancy & my sincere condolences to the family. Gordy will always have a special place in our hearts as when I was governor (1995-96) he was so very supportive of our family in our loss. He also showed how unselfish he was when he completed the year with our council when Mort passed. He was always a kind hearted person. He will be missed."

"My thoughts and prayers are with Gordy's Family and Friends. I enjoyed working with Gordy very much. I'm not a morning person so having Gordy come in each morning and tell me a joke to make me smile is a wonderful memory that will stay with me. He always talked about how excited he was to go with the family to Kalahari in the Dells. I'm also thankful for the many morning conversations/ sharing of jokes!"
