"Chet, Kathi, Ken and Tim, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Shirley. She was one of those dear people that made growing up in Random Lake so much fun. There were many days when Mike and I and a bunch of the boys would walk to Hills to get a Ham and Cheese sandwich from the deli and, of course, get the usually ribbing from Shirley at the check-out. When I sat on and broke the glass coffee table top at your house, I felt soooo bad, but she assured me it was o.k. And the Random Lake Fire Dept. parade is not the same without Pockets and Flutter harassing us Silver Creek Firemen. Squirrely Shirley truly will be missed by myself and all of our community."

Best Wishes to you and your family."

"My deepest sympathies to the family. I will always remember Shirley's smile when I went to the grovcery stores here in Random Lake. It wasn't the same when she wasn't there. And she passed on the smiles when she played a clown. I am sure she is making God laugh at this very moment."

"Oh what a sweet lady Shirley was. I was blessed to be able to work with her at Sendik's for 3 years. Not a day would go by that I would tell a customer I could help them and they would say....no thanks we want to check out in Shirley's lane.
Through all her health issues she never complained. She was a fighter and never let anything get her down. She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She had a quick wit and a little giggle. We had a lot of fun. I will
miss you Shirley. We all have a special guardian angel now.
